Premise Martin is an Award – Winning Innovative Designer, Creative Entrepreneur, Author, Voice Personality and Philanthropist. In 2011, Premise Martin, launched Pedi Licious LLC, the parent company to her six (6) Design Patented Issued idea, the “Pedicure Sandal”. A four prong toe separating sandal with semi arch support, able to wear before, during and after a pedicure treatment, or as an everyday sandal. Premise also created Pretty Licious, a Body, Nail and Sole care brand to accompany the care of soles. PreEminence Nail Lacquer is her latest creation, coming next year.
Premise is known by many as “The FlipFlop Lady” and her designs have garnered the attention of Shark Tank’s Damon John and Kevin Herrington, Katie Butler former CEO of Nine West, Tony Hsieh CEO of Zappos and CNN’s Roland Martin, to name a few. Her brands have also launched in Macy’s Marketplace 2019-2021 (Post Covid) in several locations, to include ATL,NY & FL Macy’s locations. Currently housed on Walmart.com and Amazon.com, the PediLicious Footwear Brand together alongside its All Natural & Organic Gender Neutral Body, Nail and Sole Care products, are creating a notable path to be followed.
Passionate about personally engaging and educating her customers on her brands and their worth, Premise realized some truth and found that the principles taught throughout her upbringing and in recent years through her TaeKwonDo Black Belt training, was preparation for life’s many challenges and how to overcome them. Fight or Flight or Peace over Might. After much consideration and notable changes happening in the world, Premise decided to incorporate both, her upbringing and training, by founding a Non For Profit, to give back, each one teach one then reach one, as she calls it.
In 2016, Premise founded Vision2Victory LLC, a not-for-profit organization designed for Youth Organization Empowerment and Business Growth Development, to help maximize potential for those who may feel potential-less. While Premise encourages all to “Treasure your sole” she wants to make an impact on all things, body, mind, heart, nail & sole by way of creativity, aromas, breathing, colors, senses, and the unique “Art” of body hand and sole.
